Memory of Theresa Marie Jaramillo

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Theresa Marie Jaramillo of Clifton, Arizona, who entered eternal rest on August 16, 2026, in Tucson Arizona surrounded by her beloved family.

Theresa was born on February 4, 1948 to Numberta “Honey” Roman and Salvador Onate. She was a loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend whose love touched countless lives.

Theresa is survived by her sister, Katherine (Joe) Peña; her daughters, Cynthia (Francisco) Romero and Catherine (Robert) Alcarez, stepsons Edward (Toni) Jaramillo, Gilbert Gallegos, and Jerry (Jessica) Gallegos.

She leaves behind a beautiful legacy through her grandchildren: David (Marina) Alcarez, Stephanie (Charles) Figgins, Stephanie Ford, Jessica Alcarez, Jasmine Ford, Monica (Gilbert) Valenciano, Edward Jaramillo, Joshua (Brittany) Jaramillo, Gilbert Jr. Jaramillo, Jerry Jr. Jaramillo, and Jocelyn Jaramillo, along with 17 great-grandchildren and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Theresa was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Edwardo Jaramillo, her daughter Amanda Romero, and her nephew Joseph “Turo” Chavarria.

Theresa found joy in the simple things that made life special. She loved baking, cooking, watching her beloved Raiders, and spending time with her family. Her home, her heart, and her table were places where love was always abundant.

Those who knew Theresa will remember her for the love she gave, the lessons she shared, the meals she prepared, the laughter she brought, and the countless memories she created with the people she loved most. Her family was her greatest treasure, and she was theirs.

Though our hearts are broken by her passing, we find comfort knowing that Theresa is now at peace and reunited with those who went before her.

Theresa will be deeply missed and forever loved. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, family, friends, and all who were blessed to know her.
