William Prestridge Jr.

William Hardy Prestridge, Jr. passed away unexpectedly on January 10, 2024, at the family home in Thatcher. He was born on March 21, 1968, to Barbara Monzingo and her husband William Hardy Prestridge, Sr. in Tucson Arizona.

 William Jr always said he grew up all over Arizona as his father's job working in construction required them to move from time to time. His most cherished memories were those in South Eastern Arizona where his grandparents and cousins ranched, hunted, and fished. After graduating from Coconino High School he attended Eastern Arizona College. Following EAC William made a career trucking working for Swift, DATS, and Marathon Oil. Hauling freight or fuel he made friends wherever he went and will be missed.

He is preceded in death by his father William Prestridge Sr. William Prestridge Jr is survived by his mother Barbara Monzingo-Prestridge, Brothers Robert Prestridge, Heath Prestridge (Vali), Daughter Hanna Prestridge, Nephew Payton Massey, and Niece
Arlene Noble-Prestridge.

Services will be held at McDougal-Caldwell Funeral Chapel on January 27th. Visitation is at 9 am, and services at 10 am. Graveside services will follow at Sunset Cemetery Willcox Arizonian the family plot following services.
